Miscellany Monday - Florida Wildlife

I've been busy working ahead on my new Coney Island blog, doing some editing for Kinyn (huzzah!)...oh and yeah, spending a hot Saturday at the Arizona Renaissance Festival... Anyway, so here are some pictures from one of the wildlife refuges in Florida in March 2011. Maggie guesses Green Cay but we're not sure. I don't know enough about the wildlife to give much commentary, except the zoom makes it look like we got a little closer to the dangerous things than we did. :)

I suppose red-winged blackbirds are common but its wings look like a little epaulettes!
